whats the point of autographs??
why do people want autographs from famous celebrities? what value does an Autograph have?? its just ink on something!!! why does it matter if its by a celebrity or by a garbage man? (not that there's anything wrong with being a garbage man...!)
Autographs hold sentimental value for the people who have them. Also if you have them they are proof that you actually met the person and he/she cared that you wanted an autograph of his/hers. Also, when the person who owns the autographs looks at them, he/she relives the time that the celebrity gave him/her the autograph (i.e. what he said to the celebrity, what the celebrity said to him, what kind of day was it, were there many people there or did he just run into a celebrity shopping?) All of these reasons are why people want autographs.
