Can i use the bollywood posters for the films releasing in future.?
Can i use the bollywood posters for the films releasing in future. For instance, can i take the pictures of Ra.one movie posters coming later this year and post it on my blog/website without asking for permission? As you can see many websites and blogs are using the posters of bollywood movies that are coming up in future. Do I really need to get permission, if yes from where?
You need to get permission from the makers, otherwise IF they have their legal team checking up on sites to see if that kind of thing is going on, you might be stung. It's always better to ask first (as well as being curteous), coz you don't wanna lawsuit on your hands. And don't go pleading ignorance either - or state that 'others are doing it, so it must be okay'. It's not.
At the very least, you might get away with a token amount IF they charge. Better that than being sued.
