Is it illegal to print copies of a movie poster for personal use?
My boyfriend really liked the movie Juno and I want to get him a movie poster for his birthday, however I can't find the one that I want.
It's the Japanese version where she's talking on her hamburger phone.
Now, if I was able to find it for sale, I would gladly buy it, however I just can't!
But I can find pictures of it online.
So I was wondering if it was against copyright laws or whatever to upload the picture to a picture printing site and make one that way?
Yes, it's illegal, and it's likely that most picture printing places would refuse to print it. No harm in trying though--the worst they can say is "no".
