I'm planning on getting a tattoo under my arm (my ribcage), similar to Megan Fox's in placement and length. It's in remembrance of a laparotomy I had done to remove a 10lbs tumour in November. I wanted to ask if there is any ways to compare the pain to post-surgery scar pain? Even if its just scaling both from 1-10? Maybe for further reference, I also have a belly button piercing.

I'm hoping I can get this in the next few weeks, but since it might take a while (as its not exactly small), I'm worried about the pain.

I stopped with pain meds only 3 days after surgery and was walking after two, a week earlier than expected. I'd generally think I have quite a high pain tolerance, but the idea of having needles stuck into me kinda freaks me out.
