Is making celebrity cartoons a legal problem?
I am working on a new graphics page that allows users to choose different avatar with crazy expressions for use in the game. I would like to use some celebrity images (Angelina Jolie etc) as inspiration for my avatars. I don't know if that's violating the law?
I don't intend to use their images to advertise products.
There is this website StarDoll where you dress up celebrities.
It's not the same but closest comparison I got..
I'm not sure about anything, but I highly doubt anyone's gonna sue you!
Then again.. I don't know anything and in this section I don't think you'll get a real answer so you should search about it..
