How did they explain Megan fox not being in transformers 3?

Mikaela and Sam just separated. They only mention like twice. "This is better than the other."-Wheelie being horny
and
"How do you get all these hot girls?"-Sams mom. (there is a line after it as well but thats spoiling, its a funny line.)
Bay fired Megan because she called him Hitler. However Megan said she was planning to leave but who knows.
