Do you think it's okay to let a 12.5 year old to see an R rated movie?

I really want to see Wanted (starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy), which hits theatres in late June. My mom, however is very concerned about it being rated R. Usually, I am considered very mature for my age. Do you think it's okay for me to see Wanted?

Being just a little bit older (16) I think that if your are a mature 12 year old, and the movie is only rated R for launguage and maybe mild sexual reasons, it's okay. Your going to hear "bad words" anyway, and so long as it's not graphic or gorey, I think a mature kid could handle it.
