What do theaters do with all of those posters?
Do theaters give away The Movie Posters or send them back to the movie distributors?
It depends on what movie company they came from, in some cases they give them away in others, the movie distributors will say they must be destroyed or returned. If you want to get some the best way to do it is to ask the manager of the theater. A local one here gives them away on a first come basis, so if you asked first, they will write your name and phone number down and call you when they take them down. Not all movie house are as nice as that, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I've gotten quite a few over the years, this way.
