Tall, pretty and sad. am i too skinny?
I lost a lot of weight with depression and stomach probs and feel so ashamed at being too skinny. Am I? I’m 5’9 and 51kgs last time I checked. I’m exactly like Angelina Jolie as far as figure goes. I eat well and regularly but I have no confidence to wear nice revealing clothes even though I do occasional modelling, because I’m so self concious at being too thin. want to go to my wardrobe and wear what I want to. I have beautiful clothes I’ve never worn because I’m waiting until I gain a few more kgs but with depression and IBS it’s not that easy. I’m on high calorie drinks and I’m doing my best but just maintain weight. I’ve been invited to a high profile event this weekend but feel everyone will gasp at my bony chest and arms – like to go but feel like turning it down for that reason. I wish I didn’t care about other people so much.I think theres more to this than weight. What if I gain 4 kgs and still feel like crap and have no confidence. Any advice to help me get over myself?
Whichever end of the weight spectrum we are, it’s always the same, us thinking people care far more than they actually do.
You can certainly change the way you feel about your clothes, by buying some new ones that best compliment your best traits.
Get a closed front halter style dress and a light opalescent scarf for your shoulders. Elegant and not too many ribs on display.
Girls with curves are doing the same as you, just in reverse, LOL!
Try to love the who you are while aiming for the stars.
Talk to a dietitian about your unique dietary problems, they could have more to offer than you think.
